Prince Zeid Ra'ad Zeid al-Hussein, ambassador to the United
Nations from Jordan, says that he will renew his appeal to the Security Council
to visit countries that shelter millions of Syrian refugees.

Unicef says of the 2.3 million registered Syrian refugees in
Lebanon, Turkey and Jordan, some 865,000 are children, and about 70 percent of
them are not enrolled in school; many are simply unable to register in school
systems that are struggling to deal with the inundation of Syrians; among those
who do enroll, many attend irregularly because of cost or safety concerns.

Authority sign agreement to build a Red Sea-Dead Sea water project that is meant
